Australia were wobbling until 82 was struck by Steve Smith and then Pat Cummins removed Joe Root and Rory Burns with balls, as soon as the announcement left half-an-hour to England to bat.
England's hopes of a draw will be in tact but badly dented. Graham Gooch and Bob Willis combined Charles Colvile to reflect on the following orgasmic moment.
