Stacy Lewis has withdrawn in the US Solheim Cup team with a back injury.
Lewis is named as a pick from captain Juli Inkster, however, her rear flared up a week and she doesn't feel able to tee it up in Gleneagles.
Her place in the group is going to be taken by 26-year-old newcomer Ally McDonald.
"I know this was an incredibly difficult decision for Stacy, but she also has the group's best interests in mind," said Inkster.
McDonald was in Scotland since the first alternate of the team, and finished one spot outside an automated location.
The Solheim Cup is a part of BBC Sport's Change The Game campaign. #ChangeTheGame in BBC Sport sees a summer packed full of live women's sporting complementary and action programming across online, radio and TV.
